Our Mission

We develop technology, services, and policy to improve accuracy, reproducibility, and analysis in biomedical research. Our work spans data portals, ontologies, persistent identifiers, and cross-database search infrastructure.

Founded in 2008 as the Neuroscience Information Framework (NIF), an NIH Blueprint Consortium initiative, FDI Lab expanded into a multi-domain platform powering portals across digestive, diabetes, kidney, spinal cord, and brain research.
