SPARC

Stimulating Peripheral Activity to Relieve Conditions

About

SPARC is an NIH Common Fund initiative focusing on nerve-organ interactions throughout the body. The program aims to "transform our understanding of these nerve-organ interactions and ultimately advance the neuromodulation field toward precise treatment of diseases and conditions."

The consortium is engaged in mapping, modeling, and simulating the peripheral nervous system. Through the SPARC Portal, researchers can explore datasets, view anatomical maps, and execute computational simulations.
